About Us
The Hometown Radio Network’s WHBN Harrodsburg-Lawrenceburg, WHIR Danville and WRNZ Danville-Lancaster are the long time voices of the communities in Central Kentucky! Repeatedly recognized as the Best Radio Stations in local surveys!
Residents use us for advertising their products, live coverage of high school and college sporting events, local and regional news and sports, and entertainment.
From a major fire to election returns to a lost pet, our three stations are the go-to source of information for residents of Danville, Harrodsburg, Lawrenceburg, Standford and surrounding communities. Local officials are guests on a regular basis and always in hand for emergencies from ice storms to global pandemics. Our dedication to the communities we serve, builds loyal listeners who listen everyday and hear our sponsors’ advertising messages. All stations operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
We don’t claim that every ear in our coverage area is always listening to Hometown Radio, but we do know that most residents spend significant time with us because we provide what they cannot get from other sources. We work hard to deserve that trust and our advertisers benefit from trusting listeners willing to patronize our advertisers.
